I was raised in downtown Gatlinburg across from Pi Beta Phi Elementary school, where my father managed a motel for over 42 years. My mother owned a deli downtown in the 70's and 80's and later got into real estate. I graduated from Gatlinburg Pittman in 1986 and joined the United States Air Force. I received my associates' degree in Aerospace Engineering and after the service attended Colorado University pursuing Business and Finance.
